Coach Tanner Fleming

Coach Tanner played high school football at Deltona High and earned football honors of All-State, All-Central Florida and All-District. He was recognized as the Volusia County Athlete of the Year in 2010. He was also a three sport athlete in football, track and field, and weightlifting. Coach Tanner was a three year starter at Center for the U.S. Naval Academy (2012-2014). He went 3-0 against Army, won the Armed Forces Bowl (2013) and Poinsettia Bowl (2014). Coach Tanner served as a Graduate Assistant Coach with Navy in 2015. He worked with the defensive line and the team finished #18 in the country with a 11-2 record and Military Bowl win. Coach Tanner’s high school coaching career began in 2018 at Trask High School (NC) as an offensive assistant coach. He then spent one year as Offensive Coordinator at Richlands High School (NC) in 2019 where the team averaged 31.5 points a game and finished with a 6-5 record. Coach Tanner spent the 2022 season as the Offensive Line Coach at Cocoa Beach.
