Coach Dan Silvea

2023 will be the second season at Cocoa Beach for Danny, who served as an assistant coach on the Minutemen Varsity staff and also as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team in 2022. Prior to Cocoa Beach, he was the Varsity Offensive Line Coach at Holy Trinity. Danny also served as a Head Coach for Merritt Island Pop Warner for 15 seasons. During that tenure, his teams appeared in 6 East Coast Conference Championship Games and won the league title in 4 of those seasons. His 2012, 2019 and 2020 teams advanced to the Florida Regional Playoff Finals, with the 2019 team placing in the final 4 of Florida. Danny is married to his wife of 28 years, Robin. He has 3 sons, Nate, Jayce and Logan, who have all played football under the guidance of Head Coach Ben Waldrop.
