What is it?
This is a fundraiser for the CBJSHS football program that involves the players and allows them to showcase all of the hard work put into their off-season workouts. The players will set their goals, work toward it, and be a part of the fundraising efforts for their program. This is a BIG NIGHT for our program.
Purpose:
To help fund the operation of the Minutemen football program for the 2023 season and to continue to provide our players with the best and safest practice equipment.
What To Expect:
There will be several stations set up where our players will be performing a Bench Press, a Squat, and a Power Clean for a total max weight. This is exactly what our players have been working on since the beginning of their off-season workouts.This will be their first max test before the start of Spring season. This is a great opportunity for the community to come out and see what our Minutemen football players have been working toward.
Minimum Goal:
$100.00 per Player I $2,000.00 (or more!) Program-wide /100% Participation Rate
Each player should strive to reach, and exceed, the minimum goal.

The Cocoa Beach High School Football Team is hosting it’s 3rd annual LIFT-A-THON to emphasize the importance of our off-season workouts and to provide much needed support to the Minutemen football program.
• There will be 4 stations where each player will perform core exercises: the Squat , the Bench, and the Power Clean. We will take the player’s combined score to get his total max weight.
• Each player will get donations per pound ($.05 I $.10 I $.15, etc. per pound) or a flat donation for his efforts. For per pound donations, the amount of your pledge will be the result of the player’s combined max lift scores. For example, a $.10 I pound donation with a combined lift score of 450 lbs. would be a $45 donation. A flat donation would be a flat amount regardless of weight lifted.
• We are asking each player to set a minimum pledge goal of $100. Our team wide goal is $2,000 (or more!)

IMPORTANT DATES:
• The Lift-A-Thon will be at Cocoa Beach Crossfit, 118 N Brevard Ave on April 27 from 6:00- 8:00pm. ALL family, friends, and sponsors are invited to attend.
• All hand-in cash/check donations should be turned into the pledge table at the Lift-A-Thon or, if you need time to collect per pound donations, to Coach Waldrop before practice on Monday, May 1st.
